Mother’s Day Letter 2012 - May 13th
Dear Amma,
As much as I would like to be awake to help make breakfast or something along those lines to allow your Mother’s Day to begin with as little work as possible, I will probably be asleep. As a token of my appreciation, please look into this box. Consider this gift from everyone in the family, but of course only one of us actually bought this.
I hope that you actually keep this letter/message.
I’d like to begin by saying thank you for taking on what is the hardest job in the world – being a mom. Waking up so early in the morning every day, not really ever getting the chance to relax and not worry about anything – I really don’t know how you do it.
Thank you for making our days run as smoothly as they do, providing us with the food we need it, making sure we don’t go hungry.
I do hope that you get to relax today, so that we can cook for you instead of the other way around. Of course, because we’ll probably wake up late, you’ll have made breakfast already, but maybe the rest of the day!
Please enjoy Mother’s Day knowing that even when we don’t seem to appreciate your kindness, we really do.

Write love letters to each other and place into a box along with a bottle of wine.nail it shut at the wedding. When you have your first fight, open it up, pour the wine, go to separate corners, read the love letter & remember what it’s all about.
